So, I was really pissed off when NBC decided to have a 2008 version of the classic 1980's TV show, "Knight Rider." I thought to myself "is Hollywood that desparate? Stealing British TV shows and Americanizing them was not enough, they have to remake classic TV shows?" Well, last night there was nothing on TV and I was bored with Youtube. The new "Knight Rider" was on so I decided to watch it. I have to say, it was not half bad. Sure it is funny that some pretty boy (with tragic tattoos) would land this cool job with the FBI and drive that bad ass Mustang. And back at headquarters there is this hot bitch who's father is an eccentric robot and supercar builder (read not really something that would happen in real life). Anyway, the show was not bad at all. I will have to catch it again next Wednesday, partly because I liked the damn show and also because it was a "to be continued" deal where Michael (Mike) has to drive Kitt at 105 mph to avoid a nuclear explosion. This was after he was trying to save an African Queen from a madman. I think the writers were still thinking things up during their strike.
