I am so sick of people talking about how President Obama is the first "African-American" president in the USA. Well, actually, he is the first mulatto president in the USA. He is half white; his mom had jungle fever but she was as white as my ass. So people really need to stop it with the first "African-American" president shit.
That raises another thing that pisses me off. For real, if you really were born in Africa and you come here (legally) then fine, you are an African American. If you were born in China and came here (legally) then by all means, you are a Chinese-American. But if your ethnic ass was born here then you are an American who happens to be of foreign decent (gee, just like the rest of us). Because otherwise, I am a German-Norwegian-Welsh-Yugoslavian-American. In fact, just for shits and grins, I did a survey today for a chance to win money and they asked about my ethnicity, so I skipped the Caucasian box and chose "other" and typed in German-Norwegian-Welsh-Yugoslavian. Because I can.
Also, today, as I was driving home on the other side of the street was a guy with California plates. So I honked my horn, he looked over and I gave him the finger. Because I can.
